Intelligence Bureau (IB), under Ministry of Home Affairs has released an advertisement for  IB Assistant Intelligence Officer Recruitment (ACIO)  for filling up 258 posts in Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II. The online application starts from 25th October 2025 and closes on 16th November 2025.

IB has notified advertisement for ACIO Grade-II/Technical posts for the candidates of disciplines of Computer Science and Electronics and Communication. The candidates must have achieved qualifying cut off marks in GATE 2023/2024/2025.

Step-I: Registration for IB Recruitment ACIO 2025

1.Visit www.mha.gov.in or www.ncs.gov.in

2.Click “Apply Online” and select the relevant post.

3. Read the instructions carefully, click “I Agree,” and press ‘Registration’ button.

4. Enter personal and contact details correctly.

5. On submission, you’ll receive an Application Sequence Number and password via email/SMS.

Step-II: Completing the Application Form

1.Re-login using your ASN and password.

2.Fill all the details — category, qualification, address, etc.

3.Upload:

Recent colour photograph: 100–200 KB (jpg/jpeg)

Signature: 80–150 KB (jpg/jpeg, black ink on white paper)

4.Verify all details before final submission.

Step-III: Payment of Fees

2.Exam Fee (for UR, EWS, OBC males): Rs.200
