• Relaxation :

OBC Candidates (NCL): 3 years (Maximum age up to 28 years).
Central Govt. Employees: Up to 40 years, who have rendered 3 years of regular and continuous service.
Women (Widows, Divorced, Judicially Separated): Up to 35 years (UR), 38 years (OBC), and 40 years (SC/ST).

• Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
• Mandatory possession of a Domicile Certificate of the State against which the candidate has applied.

Pay Scale Details
Level-1 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix with a Pay of Rs.18,000– Rs. 56,900
Level-1 is the basic pay grade for MTS employees across Central Government departments. The figure ₹18,000 is your initial Basic Pay.
Special Security Allowance (SSA): It is 20% of your Basic Pay, given to IB personnel.
Dearness Allowance (DA): This is calculated as a percentage of Basic Pay + SSA .
House Rent Allowance (HRA) / Transport Allowance (TA): These are paid based on the classification of your city of posting (X, Y, or Z category).Selection Method
The Selection will be in two phases in MHA IB Multi Tasking staff MTS /General Recruitment.
Tier 1: Computer Based Test (CBT): online objective test
Mode: Online (Computer Based Test)
Total Marks: 100
Total Questions: 100 (1 mark each)
Duration: 1 Hour
Negative Marking: Yes, a negative marking of 1/4 mark (0.25) will be applied for every wrong answer.
Subjects: The exam is divided into four parts:
i.General Awareness (40 Questions)
ii. Quantitative Aptitude (20 Questions)
iii. Numerical/Analytical/Logical Ability & Reasoning (20 Questions)
iv. English Language (20 Questions)
Candidates must score minimum cut-off marks in Tier-I (UR-30, OBC-28, SC/ST-25, EWS-30) to qualify for Tier-II. Shortlisted candidates are selected at 10 times the number of total vacancies.
Tier 2: Descriptive Test
This is only qualifying in nature, which checks the command over the proficiency and knowledge in English.
Mode: Descriptive, Offline Exam
Total Marks: 50
Duration: 1 Hour
Subject: English Language and Comprehension. It will assess your understanding of the basics of English, vocabulary, correct grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, and your ability to write a paragraph (around 150 words).
Qualifying Marks: You must score at least 20 out of 50 marks to qualify.
