Staff Selection Commission(SSC) has released notification for CPO Recruitment 2025 for 3073 vacancies for Sub-inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Forces. Online applications are invited for the SSC CPO Recruitment 2025. The starting date to apply is 26.09.2025 and it closes on 16.10.2025.

The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central
Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). SUb-Inspector in Delhi Police is a Group-C post carrying pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-). Sub-Inspector in CAPF is a Group-B , NOn-Gazetted Post and carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-).

The candidates must go through the requirements of educational qualification, experience, age, etc. and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post(s).

Age Limit is between 20-25 years as on 01-08-2025
Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.2000 and not later than 01.08.2005.
Relaxation : SC/ST – 5 Years OBC – 3 Years Other categories as per the Official Notification

Educational Qualification

For all posts - Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent is required.

The candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply; however they must possess Essential Qualification on or before the cut-off date; i.e., closing date of receipt of applications.

Additional Qualification for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police(Male)

For Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (Male candidates only):

1. Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT).

2. The male candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for the post of Sub-Inspector in CAPFs only.

Physical Endurance Test

1.For Male Candidates :
- 100 metre race in 16 seconds
- 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump: 3.65 metre in 3 chances
- High Jump : 1.2 metre in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metre in 3 chances

2. For Female Candidates :

- 100 metre race in 18 seconds
- 800 metre race in 4 minutes
- Long Jump: 2.7 metre in 3 chances
- High Jump: 0.9 metre in 3 chances

Scheme of Examination

The examination will consist of -
Paper-I,
Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and
Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Note :
1.All these stages of the examination are mandatory.

2.Questions in both Paper-I and Paper-II will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts-I, II and III of Paper-I.

3.There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I & Paper-II.

4.PST/PET are mandatory but qualifying in nature. Ex-Servicemen are not required to undergo PET.

5.Only those candidates who qualify in PST/PET will be allowed to appear in Paper-II Examination.

6.Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II (without adding bonus marksapplicable to NCC certificate holders) are as follows:
UR: 30%
OBC/EWS: 25%
All other categories: 20%

How to Apply SSC CPO Recruitment 2025

1. Before applying, candidates are advised to go through the instructions given in the notice of examination very carefully.

2. All the interested candidates re required to complete their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.gov.in). The OTR generated on the old website (https://ssc.nic.in ) will not be functional for the new website.

3. The Application Form must be submitted only in online mode, either at the website of SSC (HQ) (https://ssc.gov.in) or through the ‘mySSC’ mobile application .

4.The candidates are advised to opt for Aadhaar-Based Authentication, in terms of the Aadhaar Policy as published on the website of the Commission, while completing their OTR process.

5.After login, fill up the online application form and upload the scanned copy of required documents like marksheets, certificates, photo, signature etc.


6. Pay the Fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) .Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 16.10.2025 (23:00 Hours).

7. Finally submit the online application.
